Each year we come up against the same phenomenon – some residents refuse to sign-up to membership for the year ahead. Why? It costs nothing, and it gives us a little bit of income by way of grant from the Council.  This grant is used exclusively to cover our printing costs for newsletters and other occasional material. No one individual benefits.

Signing-up simply says that you, as resident of the Ethelburga Estate, support your Residents’ Association (who defend your corner vis a vis the Council and look to finding ways to make living on the Estate more enjoyable).  It commits you to nothing else.

The more members we have, the more we demonstrate to Council that we have the backing of our residents and the more credible and effective we become in our dealings with the Council.

If you have stumbled across this site and you have not yet signed up to membership of your Residents’ Association for 2011, please do so via e-mail. Please send from your regular e-mail address stating your name and flat number and confirm your membership to the Residents’ Association for 2011/12.

Your e-mail sign-up is required by March 20th, 2011. So hurry, please.

NB :  This is an annual requirement. If you have signed up in the past, that does not count. You need to sign up for the for the new financial year.
