Over the next few weeks you will be asked to sign-up as a member of the Residents Association. This is an annual exercise required by the Council. The reason for this is that the Residents’ Association receives a small grant to cover its running costs. This grant consists of £2.00 per household plus a fixed sum of £150 upwards per 100 households, providing at least 20% of the Estate become members.

Signing up commits you to nothing and enables us to be a better Residents’ Association.  You can help by taking responsibility for getting everybody on your block to sign up.

Please collect the requisite form for your block from 46 Maskelyne Close. We need the completed membership forms by the end of February. Please include your e-mail address and/or telephone number. This information stays with us and will help us in quickly passing on news and information to you.

Note that if we achieve a 50% sign-up rate, the ‘per head’ payment gets doubled. This grant is our only income; we need it to cover costs such as the production of the newsletter. Around 400 flats are potential members, so let’s aim for a 100% sign-up.
