The Ethelburga Community Centre is a most wonderful facility for not only the estate, but also for anybody living within a 1 mile radius of it.

It consists of a large octagonal Meeting Room which can be configured in a number of ways and will seat 85 theatre style; along with a fully equipped kitchen which can be hired for an additional cost.

If you really do not have access to email then you may telephone 0702 407 0646 between the hours of 9.30 and 5.30 but please understand that access to the calendar may not be available when you telephone so an email REALLY is the best way.
Please understand that the centre is run on a voluntary basis by members of the community and there are no full time staff. However, we are delighted to assist in helping you to enjoy this wonderful community resource so please do get in touch.

The current hire rates are –

Large Meeting Room – £30 p.hour, or part thereof.

Use of the fully equipped kitchen, with Large Meeting Room hire – £20.00 extra. For large groups catering for more than 50 people the kitchen charge is £100.00

A deposit equivalent to 50% of the hire cost (not less than £50) is required in order to secure a firm booking. This is payable in addition to the hire charge. The hire charge needs to be paid in full 2 weeks ahead of the event. The deposit will be returned after the event, less any deductions for damages or over-runs.

Cancellation Policy : a full refund if cancelled one month or more before the event; 75% if cancelled 3 weeks before the event; 50% if cancelled 2 weeks before, and no refund if the cancellation occurs less than 2 weeks before the event.

Note :  If you are a charity, or you are planning a charitable event, but do not know how to set about it and when might be the best dates or timings for it, please write to us / e-mail us. Once we have an understanding of what you wish to achieve and for whom, we might be able to suggest a creative way forward.

Location

We are centrally located, across the River from the Kings Road and adjoining Battersea Park, one of London’s most enjoyable parks. We are about 25 minutes walk from South Kensington or Sloane Square and well connected to these stations, as well as Clapham Junction, via bus lines 19, 170 (Victoria Station), 319, 345 & 49.
